Abstract
Since beginning in May 1951, the bilateral es between Pakistan and China have generally been smooth and incremental with a sheer size of mutual trust and respect. Over the me the relaonship between the two has evolved to a unique level where China and Pakistan are dubbed as allweather friends and their relaonship being 'deeper than oceans, higher than Himalayas, and sweeter than honey.' Starng with mere diplomac acceptance of each other, the bilateral relaons swelled over me to build a deep-rooted strategic partnership encompassing all aspects of geopolics and geo-economics. Generally, changes at global level tend to affect relaonships among states but in case of Sino-Pak relaonship there has remained a sense of semblance and smoothness irrespecve of any global or regional dynamics. This relaonship is found and further cemented on the basis of a set of shared objecves and values and aainment of which is equally desired and pursed by each of the countries. Keeping this growing relaonship in consideraon, this paper aempts to examine different aspects of this relaonship and the growing common ground for mulfaceted cooperaon in the view of a 'Peaceful rise of China' and emerging global and regional polical and strategic dynamics.
