Analyzing the market of consumption and production of the wood biofuel in the Republic of Komi

The article presents the analysis of the market of consumption and production of wood biofuel of the Republic of Komi. It is shown that processing of wood waste into biofuel is one of the key directions for increasing the resource efficiency of the Russian forest complex. It is determined that the effectiveness of the management of the bioenergy industry by the state authorities limits the problems associated with the lack of data in the service of state statistics which characterize the development of the industry. For solving this problem, the paper suggests an algorithm that allowed obtaining objective information about the development of the republic's bioenergy industry. The results of the research are of great practical importance for the management of the development of production and consumption of wood biofuel of the Republic of Komi.
