Effectiveness of Amlodipine in the management of hypertension in geriatric population

Abstract
A study is done on the effective use of amlodipine in elderly hypertension management in the municipality Baracoa, in 2012 with the goal of forming an effective strategy for use of the same. The population and sample consisted of 289 people affected by hypertension, certified with the medication. Primary data are provided interviews, observations, welfare actions control and monitoring of medical records, case studies and statistical techniques, that were used for the design of brochures, posters and mini case studies with cognitive elements about the effectiveness of the proper administration of amlodipine in elderly hypertension management.
