Abstract
This work consists in a descriptive study that aims to investigate and evaluate the management of educational technologies in public schools of high school, like Prof. CE Galen Edgar Brandes and Arlindo Ferreira de Lucena, both located in the neighborhood of Tresidela, in Barra do Corda, Maranhão. In addition to examining how is the management and the use of educational technologies available in these schools, we aimed to discuss the importance of a management committed to the political pedagogical project and the integration of educational technologies in the school life. Touches on educational technology, focusing on their incorporation in the school and the changing role of the school, in the face of the manager and the importance of a political pedagogical project that addresses the pedagogical use of educational technologies to the articulated curriculum. To conduct the survey, relied on studies of Moran (2000, 2007), Levy (1999), Demo (2006, 2009) among others. It was applied a questionnaire to managers, teachers and students in order to identify factors that contribute or not for the lack of use of educational technologies in schools and what has been the manager's role in promoting effective use of available technologies in school. The result about the actions of awareness and motivation of managers to incorporate technologies in educational processes, both developed by the Ministry of Education in partnership with the Educational Technology Supervision / State Department of Education as the Core Technology Educational / NTE in Barra do Corda, as well as management support and planning for the educational use of technology in teaching-learning schools that joined the National Programme for IT in Education / Proinfo was unsatisfying.
