Education challenges: Teacher insight differents regions of Brazil

Abstract
The situation of education is quite variable in different regions of Brazil, but some challenges seem to be common to all the national territory. In this paper, we discussed some of these issues from the perception of teachers around the country: a sample composed by 37 Brazilian teachers, participants of the "Education Compared" course of the masters in Science education at the Autonomous University of Asuncion. In the classroom, teachers were separated in pairs and asked to point the main problems of the teaching practice in Brazil. The keywords most cited were accounted and discussed, where the obstacles more pointed to a quality education were: "system", “infrastructure”, “management”, “salaries”, “professional training” and “family”. Later, 7 months later, an online questionnaire was made up of three questions for the same teachers. The analysis of the questionnaire revealed results similar to previous poll. Whatever for issues related to education in a wide range, orfor daily dynamics, respondents cited more economic problems and socio-political order than aspects strictly related to classroom. In this context, we discussed there lationship between some of these
educational factors .
