Wavelet transform images with contour selection

Abstract
Methods of modifying wavelet transformations of images with selection of contours are theoretically substantiated and practically confirmed. Comparative qualitative and quantitative indicators of the proposed image processing methods were obtained. The proposed image processing algorithms allow you to: increase the degree of compression of test images; improve the quality of compressed images with the same root-mean-square recovery error; increase the speed of image processing; do not require a significant modernization of existing formats for the presentation of graphic data (JP2).
