Abstract
The article analyzes the activities of correctional institutions as a structural unit of the Penal System (hereinafter the penal correction system), in which special attention has always been paid to the application of measures of encouragement to prisoners. Ensuring the rule of law in the implementation of incentive measures in the penitentiary system is an important direction in the activities of institutions and bodies of the penal system.
