Abstract
Scientists of the in the East and West reflected personal views on this issue in their books when relying on the ideas of ancient Greek thinkers. Even this problem was addressed at different times, each time the issue of microtonality was presented from a new angle, attracting the interest of musicologists, that in turn served to address the stated topic of this article.
