Risks in the corporate governance system

In the article the main reasons for the emergence of risks in the corporate governance system and their classification by separate groups are considered. Examples of the influence of stakeholders (stakeholders) on the corporate governance system are given. Practical examples of how risks in the corporate governance system are reflected in the commercial activities of enterprises of the oil and gas industry of the Russian Federation are analyzed. The main stages of corporate risk management are listed. A list of measures to minimize risks in the corporate governance system is provided. Special attention is paid to the issue of independence of the board of directors. Key problems that lead to increased risks in the corporate governance system are listed. A list of measures is proposed to improve the work of the mechanism of the board of directors in Russia.
