Abstract
The case category has a special place in the grammar structure of Turkic languages as well as Azerbaijani language. Although there are considerable studies in this field, there are still controversial issues in this area. The case category has historically gone through a rich development path, also defined both morphological indicators, and grammatical functions. The mutuality case that existed in the Turkic languages historically, is used in many modern Turkic languages, but not in Azerbaijani language. The deaf n suffix of genitive and accusative cases in West group dialects of Azerbaijani language along are being used in the language of ancient historical inscriptions, processed in many modern Turkic languages.
