Abstract
Glossalgia is always secondary to the main disease (neurosis, gastrointestinal diseases, hepatic disorders, endocrine disorders) or injury (denture insertion, tooth extraction, oral surgery, etc.). Removing the cause of glossalgia leads to its disappearance.
