FACTORS OF COMPATIBILITY OF URBAN ENVIRONMENT AND MONUMENTAL SCULPTURE OF AZERBAIJAN

In this article placed an information about connection of monumental sculpture with urban environ- ment. Development of modern Azerbaijan sculpture had begun since 20 th years of XX century. Role of synthesis architecture and sculpture in an urban environment is quite extensive. The main aim – works of sculptor and architect are in close partnership and solving the most important problems of modern monumental art. Nowa- days sculptors create sculptures and begin to look for place for them. Actually an architect and sculptor have to define the place and only after it should begin to create sculpture for this environment.
