In this study, the analysis of CFST columns is done with the help of NASTRAN software. The models are analyzed and prepared using NASTRAN software to obtain the ultimate load values for different diameter, slenderness ratio and length of CFST members. The Pu analytical values are compared with codal provisions such as ACI 318 and EURO code 4 methods. The difference between Analytical Pu and codal Pu values are investigated using graphs. The Reliability analysis is carried out to know the design goal so as to achieve the ultimate load carrying capacity with less deflection. The Reliability analysis is carried out with the help of comrel-9 software and those results such as Reliability index and probability of failure are tabulated for each CFST model. The reliability analysis is performed by FORM method. Simulation technique which is Mean value first order method is used in this work. The Taguchi's method is adapted for the study of entire parameter space with only a small number of experiments, by which strength to weight ratio is determined.
