Abstract
The Indian Banking industry sparked a boom to the country during the past two decades. Banking plays an important role in the financial life of a business and contributes to the development of an economy. Banks are considered as to be the lifeblood of modern economy. It offers plenty of services and facilities to their customers. To meet the expectations of the customers, employees in banks should enrich their Psychological Capacities such as Self-Efficacy, Hope, Resilience and Optimism. Further in the current scenario politics is unavoidable in their workplace, but organizations should also ensure that it does not have a negative effect. Therefore the purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of Perception of Organizational Politics on Psychological Capital. Data was collected from 1262 employees of the public and private sector banks in South India through a validated questionnaire. Data was analyzed using SPSS and Warp PLS. The result reveals that Perception of Organizational Politics is positively related to Psychological Capital.
