Abstract
The purpose of this research is to identify the effect of simulations in the enhancing of learning. Expressed in the rate of acquisition of what is given during lessons, in the amount of possible information and knowledge that can be offered in one class and new ideas that these technologies urge students for further creativity. The Software Packet Tracer has been experimented as a simulation tool in the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the University of Pristina. The results which are obtained from this experimentation highlight the positive effect that the use of simulations in teaching and learning process have in terms of improving the efficiency of learning. The results also show that the use of simulations motivates students to learn, making them more cooperative and developing their skills for critical approach.
