Abstract
Steering Knuckle may be a non-standard element linking the suspension, steering; braking systems and also the wheel hub to the chassis of a vehicle. This study aims to revamp the steering knuckle so as to scale back the unsprung weight of one seat. All parcel of land Vehicle whereas holding a satisfactory ratio for higher performance of the vehicle. A two-step method has been used for identification. Opening move is modeling the knuckle as per the structural issues and style constraints set by suspension, steering and brake assemblies; determination of masses performing on the knuckle. The second step is stress analysis victimization finite component computer code and style changes for reducing weight while not compromising on the structural strength. In line with the analysis results, the material may be accessorial to elements that are subjected to higher stress than the protection issue permits. A material may also be off from low-stress areas, thus, serving to scale back the element weight.
