Abstract
The study aimed to reveal the relationship between emotional intelligence and happiness in second year secondary students. The study sample was randomly selected by 70 students and students of secondary school year. By applying the measure of emotional intelligence and the measure of happiness, There was no statistically significant correlation between emotional intelligence and happiness in second year secondary school students. The level of emotional intelligence was high, and the level of happiness was average among secondary school students. And the absence of statistical differences between the sexes in both emotional intelligence and feeling happy.
