The role of social networks in achieving public relations programs for Jordanian universities to improve their image

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the role of social networks in public relations programs، and the process of forming the awareness of employees and students in Jordanian universities about the political، social and economic issues. As well as to identify the forms of their awareness gotten by relationship in Universities.. The study used the analytical descriptive method using the questionnaire tool on 500 employees and students from the YARMOUK University as one of the public universities and JADARA as one of the private universities in Jordan. After conducting the statistical operations on the responses of the respondents، the study reached a number of results، the most important of which are: 1- Social networks have divided the audience into specific sectors according to the content of the public relations programs and the form in which they are presented. 2- The diversity of forms of social awareness according to its levels in terms of the relationship of universities to the institutions of society، and this comes through the internal public relationship with the external audience based on social relations. 3- Public relations workers contribute to the promotion of specific intellectual patterns، some of which reinforce what exists. 4- Using texts، images، video clips and fixed and mobile drawings have increased the desired impact among users of these networks and specifically targeted social fields.
