Abstract
The aim of this study was to identify the level of emotional intelligence among a sample of married individuals in the wilaya of Setif ( about 150 individuals ; 75 pairs and 75 wives )who lives an above the mean level of émotional divorce. These latters have been chosen after applying scales research . As well as to identify the type of correlation between emotional intelligence and emotional divorce, the results of this study to the following: - Study subjects suffer a decrease in the level of emotional intelligence . - There is an inverse correlation at the significance level &=0.01 between the emotional intelligence and emotional divorce.
