Abstract
The current study is focused on the concept of work life balance of women working in Engineering industries and to identify the various factors which relates to their life balance and to propose the suitable model for balancing their life in their professional endeavour. Studies show that women prefer Production and Mechanical engineering studies as a career option .The study was conducted in different manufacturing industries in Mysuru city. The method that was used to collect the data was random sampling and happens to be the best technique. Structured questionnaire were administered for collecting primary data from respondents. Data analysis tools contain Chi-square, standard deviation, averages, tabulations, percentage analysis, and charts for hypothesis testing. The study may give some important measures for industries to understand the problems and the facilities they can provide benefits to women's and help them to maintain the balance of work both in stores and at home.
