Abstract
We discuss in this paper all the aspects to apply the asymptotic method (AM) in geometrically non-linear elasticity. We will show in particular all the technical details, which allow us to establish easily the AM in FORTRAN program of non-linear computing. Then an example of application will be presented which will permit to discuss operation of the AM and to show the effectiveness of the algorithm.
