REALIZATION OF PRINCIPLE OF PROFESSIONAL DIRECTEDNESS OF THE LEARNING PROCESS IN ENGINEERING-TECHNICIAN UNIVERSITY THROUGH INTERDISCIPLINARY LINKS

The article deals with the principle of professional directedness through the implementation of interdisciplinary links while studying of mathematics at technical University. The problem of improving the quality of mathematical education in a technical University is very relevant nowadays. Students` further progress in special and principal subjects, as well as the possibility of orientation in their professional activities depends on the quality of mathematics knowledge that students gain. The pedagogical functions of professional directedness, as well as the conditions of their implementation are identified. Professionally-oriented tasks, taking into account the specifics of the oil and gas business are described in detail.
