Abstract
The article considers the problem of the bypassed oil and technogenic oil deposits formation due to waterflooding features. This phenomenon is confirmed by the data of downhole logging on wells drilled on the oil displacement front. Measurements of the electrical resistivity show decrease in its value below the amount that corresponding to net oil pay zones at the initial stage of development. Practically this means that the oil saturation of the pore volume at the oil displacement front becomes higher than the initial one. Simulation experiments conducted on software system NEMESIS confirm this possibility.
