Abstract
The economic performance and competitiveness of a production entity depend on the reliability of its equipment, and therefore the control of the maintenance policy. To meet these requirements in the case of an energy conversion system, this paper proposes a structured methodology based on efficient probability laws that describe the equipment behavior by rigorously following the state of its components. The Support Vector Regression (SVR) method is used to identify the distribution parameters of the used probability. This approach is based on cost optimization to select a maintenance method and determine a systematic period of intervention and replacement of constituents.
