Competitiveness of the parties in criminal proceedings

This article is devoted to the adversarial proceedings in criminal proceedings, both at the stage of preliminary investigation and at the stage of legal proceedings. The relevance of this issue is caused by the ongoing reforms of legal proceedings in Russia, which provided a fundamental change in legislation. An important factor in the ongoing reform is undoubtedly the equality of the parties at all stages of the consideration of a criminal case.
