COMPARATIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT METHODS OF PALATÎPLASTY ON THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE UPPER JAW IN CHILDREN WITH CONGENITAL CLEFT PALATE

Children with congenital cleft of the upper lip and palate were under the supervision of an orthodontist and a maxillofacial surgeon in the Department of pediatric maxillofacial surgery at the Tashkent State Dental Institute. Morphological reconstruction and growth of the jaw bone after palatoplaste surgery was studied by the method of measurement of diagnostic models and CT in dynamics before and after palatoplasty using various methods by J.H.Sillman. We examined 114 children aged from 6 months to 2.5 years: there were studied 20 healthy children and 94 children with congenital cleft palate with unilateral degree of damage during the recovery period after surgery.
