Abstract

Anthropocentrism underlies modern linguistics. In order to emphasize the relationship of the text with "life" use the term "discourse". This relationship is most pronounced at the projection of the use of language in the mass media – in newspapers discourse. The article deals with the way of expressing evaluation in Japanese newspapers discourse. Evaluation in a journalistic text is expressed using a variety of stylistic techniques and means of expression. The author focus on the grammar means analysis. The choice is justified by the abundance of stable grammar structures that convey different nuances of meaning in Japanese. The study is based on the texts of articles from Japanese information sites and newspaper
