Abstract
This article analyzes expressive emotional vocabulary used in Japanese magazines written for women. We investigated this vocabulary relying on the features of the Japanese language and found out how using of expressive emotional words can help readers to feel certain emotions. We considered language features of publi- cistic texts which implement function of connecting an author and a reader. This research was based on Japanese magazine called "Ar"
