Abstract
Buildings require continuous monitoring of energy performance. For this application, a simplified dynamic building model of local building laboratory local was used for this purpose. In this paper we develop a 2R1C thermal network model of building envelope. Experimental input-output data sequences collected at ENERGARID laboratory of Bechar University, Algeria are used for parameters identification and model validation. A method based on Nelder-Mead optimization algorithm is used to identify the optimal parameters of the proposed model. The results of this work are tested under Matlab simulink software. A good agreement between the measured and calculated values of the indoor air temperature was observed.
