Abstract
A study was conducted to explore the usage of online journals and databases, user satisfaction with availability of online journals and databases provided by the library at Kuvempu University. The respondents of survey included two categories of the University; research scholars and faculty members from science discipline. Study revealed that the majority of respondents are preferred open access journals than subscribed journals. Further revealed that maximum number of research scholars using online resources obviously for research purpose, while faculties used to write papers. Science Direct topped the list on high usage. AGRICOLA is the most familiar database which is used by highest no. of research scholars and faculty found from the study. Most of the users have found difficulties in using online journals and databases due to Slow Response of Network and Poor Internet Connectivity. It is recommended to library that it should provide more facilities such as computers, Speed Internet connections, etc.
