Abstract

The subject of research was science as a special form of human society activity. The aim of the work was to analyze the negative aspects of the influence of scientific schools on the development of scientific activity. Scientific schools pass three main stages in their development. One of the possible options for development is the stage of stagnation of the scientific school. In this case, the scientific school acts as an institution to obstruct the development of science. Temporary research teams created for solving specific problems should be considered the most effective form of organization. The article can be used for the purpose of organizing research teams and increasing the efficiency of their work.
