Abstract

The article is deals with the issue concerning gradual formation of students' idea of a diverse multitude of causative-systemic relations between parts of the world. The author analyses a range of issues related to the formation of a modern scientific worldview as a potential basis for the subject matter of education and registers its fragmented state. Current lack of a clear pattern of integrating scientific knowledge prevents from constructing nature-oriented content of education. A model of universal scientific worldview is introduced in the paper. The model comprises natural-scientific and social-humanitarian segments and employs the causative-systemic approach towards the analysis that is focused on universal laws of nature. The author substantiates that the universal scientific worldview provides a number of advantages for the current system of education that obviously struggles through the process of reforming. The primary advantage is the possibility of prognostic identification of humans' purpose in the world. This identification involves teaching natureoriented, synergetic and causative-consecutive connections between diverse systems as well as inspiring a set of nature-oriented values. Thus, the universal scientific worldview is regarded as the result of interdisciplinary synthesis of a number of branches of science and encompasses respective biological, chemical, physical and mathematic worldviews. Their connection is determined by the philosophic assumption of spatial structures which undergo simultaneous and hierarchically cyclic development.
