SOCILOGICAL STUDY OF CONSUMPTION SOCIETY FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF GLOBALIZATION

Human being begins to consume to meet certain needs in order to sustain his/her existence. Throughout history, specific consumption behaviors have been observed in each community. In this respect, there is a consumption habit before the concept of globalization. But the changing face of the developing world with globalization, consumption habits have also changed with the development of transportation and communication Technologies. In our study, we are looking for answers to questions about how the globalization phenomenon opens the way for the consumer society and how consumption as a vehicle has become an object.
