MELTING SLAG CAPACITY AND CAST IRON HEATING AT PULVERIZED COAL INJECTION INTO THE BLAST FURNACE

The use of classical triaxial diagrams of slag overheating and melting slag capacity to a state of regular flow shows that the transition to the technology of pulverized coal injection in the blast furnace hearth resulted in the reduction of slag basicity which is accompanied by heat supply decrease in the furnace hearth and the reduction of iron heating.
