Rural matter of P. Skoropadsky’s Hetmanate period and the Directory of the Ukrainian People’s Republic on the pages of «Ukrainian Peasant»

Abstract
The article attempts to analyze the Ukrainian historiography devoted to the history of the Ukrainian State and the Directory of the Ukrainian People's Republic on the pages of the scientific journal Ukrainian Peasant. The studio is based on research and intelligence published in the collection of scientific articles in 2001–2017. As of 2018, «Ukrainian Peasant» is the only specialized specialized publication on peasant-related topics in Ukraine. Launched in 2001 with the organizational support of the Research Institute of the Peasantry and the Scientific Society of Historians-Agrarians, the collection of scientific works became a platform for scientific discussions of the scientific community on agrarian issues. The 19th issue of the scientific journal featured prominence in the period of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1912. Taking into consideration the stated purpose of the published publication is an analysis of the modern Ukrainian researchers of the time of Hetman P. Skoropadsky and the Directory of the Ukrainian People's Republic on the pages of the scientific journal Ukrainian Peasant. Thus, during the years 2001–2017, «Ukrainian peasant2 remains a valuable scientific publication, on the pages of which a significant place is given to the consideration of the issues of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917–1921 and, in particular, its separate periods – the days of Hetman P. Skoropadsky and Directorate of the UNR. Based on the elaborated historiographic sources, we can state that the bulk of scientific research is devoted to the agrarian legislation of national governments during the period 1917–1921, the reaction of the peasantry to the implementation of land reforms. Students of Kornovenko S.V., Kovaleva N.A. are especially profound. Most of the materials processed substantially supplements and specifies the course of revolutionary events in the Ukrainian village in 1917–1921. It allows us to understand the peasant psychology of that time.
