Abstract
This article describes the results of estimation the physical and mechanical properties of medical gauze treated with aqueous solutions of silver nano-citrate. Studies have shown that the proposed antiseptic finish does not reduce the physical and mechanical properties of medical gauze and is non-toxic. The high antimicrobial activity of the developed finishing mixture against a wide range of microorganisms and the resistance of the modified tissue samples to wet treatments, slightly decreasing only after repeated washes, have been established.
