Abstract

Patient satisfaction survey is one of the evaluation methods that can be used to assess the quality of clinical pharmacy services. This study aim is to develop a questionnaire in Indonesian language for measure patient satisfaction of pharmaceutical care provided in first and secondary level healthcare especially about clinical pharmacy services. We compiled questionnaire item based on the prevailing regulations in Indonesia regarding to the standard of pharmaceutical care in Puskesmas (community health center), pharmacy and hospital. Questionnaire statement divided into five categories of service quality i.e. reliability, responsiveness, tangibles, assurance, and empathy. The questionnaires were then tested to 90 respondents (each 30 respondents per group criteria) to test the validity and reliability of the instrument. There are 39 statements in the clinical pharmacy services questionnaire at Puskesmas, 41 statements each for pharmacy and hospital questionnaires. Validity test results using correlation of product moment gives r value of each statements > 0.361 (valid). Reliability test is done by using Cronbach Alpha model. Cronbach Alpha result was > 0.6 (reliable) for each questionnaire statements. Validity and reliability instrument test result showed the clinical pharmacy service questionnaire that compiled valid and reliable.
