Abstract
This paper addresses a number of important and contemporary issues in the life of each muslim. Which is haraam money and how to deal with it and with its owners. A muslim may acquire haraam money for a reason or another, on purpose or not. Then he wants to purify his money or to get rid of it, in accordance to the provisions and rules of Sharia, or a muslim may deal with people who have haraam Money without taking place in haraam. Through this paper, I am trying to answer these questions by dividing it into three sections. The first section is devoted to explain the concept of haraam money among scholars, and choosing the most likely definition and then clarifying the parts and kinds of haraam money. Whereas the second section we point out to the legal channels of how to get rid of haraam money and we mention that scholars’ different opinions as to whether it is permissible to spend this money on oneself or benefiting from it and the conditions that must be applied for accepting that. The third and the final section, we talked about the most important rules of dealing with people who has haraam money. Whether it was a pure haraam money or mixed with halal money. Whether he is aware of its existence or doubt about it.
