Abstract
Global labour productivity is at the forefront of concern facing professionals in the construction business. Productivity supports construction industries to be competitive and to achieve the goals and investor's expectation. The main objective of the paper is to review the factor affecting labour productivity methods to evaluate it. The study on productivity of labour is important in developing countries like India, where most of the building construction is on labour based. As per reviews completed it was observed that site supervision, labour skills, tools & equipment and financial constraints were the most significant factors affecting labour productivity, however in case of grouping of factors it was noted that human groups, managements group, materials and tools group, environmental groups and technological groups are relatively important groups. In case of study of labour productivity, factors analysis plays a vigorous role in finding the independent and groups factor which can be used for improving the factors affecting.
