Abstract

In an effort to find new ideas in the formation of the unity of science, religion and language appropriate to the Malaysians, especially the Malays, then this study reviews the thoughts of Muslim Malays scientists. They are Ungku Omar, Shaharir, Mohd Yusof and Tajul Ariffin. The selection of this figures is due to the contribution of thoughts and their involvement that widespread in discussing the concept of unity through the agenda of Islamization of knowledge with the approach and the way of its own. Unity of science, religion and language is designed to overcome national education has established a curriculum in the education system that provides science and mathematics are connected with Islamic religious sciences, and at the same time not belittle our own language ability in delivering science and technology to students. This study is descriptive and prescriptive qualitative-study with biographical approach. This approach focuses the thoughts in discussing convergence of science, religion and language. The application of the concept of unity of science, religion and language in our education system expected multi-skilled individuals with knowledge, at the same time adheres to the principles of the religion, and to defend the interests of his nation and language.
