Abstract
In every field of work there are certain barriers which have to be broken down to complete the task. But in the field of entrepreneurship the barriers will rise before starting the process of entrepreneurship. Many individuals with interest to become an entrepreneur planning to start a business but without even taking any steps towards it they withdraw their idea of starting business. But very few start their business and at initial phase of development itself they expect only profit from the business. This attitude makes them quit the business within one or two years by reasoning there is no profit in the business. To address these issue survey on entrepreneurial barrier and motivation was conducted among 1035 unemployed graduates in Tamilnadu. With the data collected Pearson correlation analysis was carried out and various facts are revealed and suggestions are made on the results to make every entrepreneurial aspirant to be a successful entrepreneur.
