Abstract

The Tradıtıon Of Wrıtıng Texts In The Maturıdı School And Important Some Doctrınal Texts During the period of the caliphs after the death of the Prophet, develop-ments in the world of thought, which appeared with the conquests, brought with them some debates. Topics such as the attributes of God and the freedom of man had begun to be debated. As a result of this in the first and second centuries of the Hijri calender, a number of institutions began to appear on the scene. Thus did it be-come necessary that texts of religious doctrines be written. In the tradition of Hanefi-Maturidi, the writing of doctrinal texts was star-ted by the Fıkhu'l-Akbar of Abu Hanifa (d. 150/767). Later Tahawi's (d. 321/933) Akîdetü't-Tahâvî, Samarkandi's (d. 342/952) As-Sevâd al-Azam, Abu Leys as-Samarkandi's (d. 373/983) Al-Akida and Nasafi's (d. 537/1142) Akaidu'n-Nasafi con-tinued to follow. In our work, we will try to show how the tradition of writing texts in Maturidi's school was created and try to present these points.
