An Investigation on Reasons and Results of the Euro Crisis

Abstract
The European debt crisis or Euro Crisis, emerged in 2007 as a result of the spread of financial and financial crisis, known as the mortgage crisis in the United States, to European countries. The crisis was shaped as a debt crisis in Europe, especially in Greece. In this study, the reasons of the Euro Crisis and its effects on the European economy were examined. In this context, the monetary and fiscal policies of the European economy have been taken into consideration and the results of these policies are emphasized. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the Euro crisis is result of uncoordinated monetary and financial policies between European Union and member states.
