Abstract
In the pharmaceutical field, there is a need of new and novel chemical inhibitors with biological functions. Much of our efforts are focused on the introduction of chemical diversity in the molecular frame work in order to synthesizing pharmacologically interesting heterocyclic compounds with widely different composition. The research on determining the biological activity of heterocyclic synthetic compounds looks into the medicinal applications of these heterocyclic compounds. Several entities have been designed, generated and characterized using spectral studies. The objectives of the present work are to evaluate the in vitro antioxidant and free radical scavenging potential, Anti-inflammatory activity and Antidiabetic activity of the test compounds. Thus, the compounds Chalcone and Piperdine derivatives was found to exhibit good in vitro activity when compared with standard drugs
