Abstract
Specific information on artistic features of the XVI century embroidery art of Azerbaijan was given in the article. General information has been obtained by analyzing pieces of art and carpet samples preserved in world museums and private collections. Here, along with examples of various ornaments, plot illustrations have once again confirmed the high quality of artistic textile samples
