Abstract
Human Resource Management (HRM) is a relatively new approach to managing people in any organisation. People are considered the key resource in this approach. it is concerned with the people dimension in management of an organization. The Indian poultry industry employs more than 3 million farmers and 15 million agrarian farmers who grow poultry ingredients for feed and contributes. Rs 26,000 crore to the national income. the poultry farm industry engages all type of labor, namely Skilled, Semi-skill and unskilled laborer. This study primary focuses on to understand the prevailing present scenario of human capital in Poultry farming industry at Namakkal District. In order to understand the present scenario the researcher raises the questions regarding the availability of different type of labour, labour turnover, and procurement problem.
