Abstract
Since the beginning of the formation of the Zionist regime in 1948, feeling of insecurity as well as the threats posed by Muslim Arab neighbors have always threatened the regime's security and eternity and affected its foreign and security policy. Despite the diminishing level of Israel's conflicts with Arab neighbors, the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the emergence of the discourse of resistance led to the formation of a new polarization in the Middle East security system under the title of axis of resistance that puts the security and the existence of Israel at risk. This has influenced the foreign policy of Israel more than anything else especially within the years after 2000 and simultaneous with the reinforcement of the axis of resistance and the withdrawal of Zionist regime from a vast part of the occupied territories of southern Lebanon. The present study seeks to survey the Israel's foreign policy toward the axis of resistance and the changes taken place in the Israel's security doctrine toward Middle East security actors. To study this topic, the Copenhagen School of Security has been considered as the theoretical framework of the study, which significantly contributed to survey the Israel's foreign and security policy toward the axis of resistance. Hence, according to the negative security interdependence between Israel and the axis of resistance, the hypothesis of the research is that: increasing the strength of the axis of resistance within the years after 2000 and reducing the national security ratio of Israel and challenging the concepts of the Israel's security doctrine has led to the regime's more aggressive foreign policy toward the axis of resistance.
