M. S. Slobodianyk’s Pedagogical Activity: the Search for a New One

The article presents some aspects of the multifaceted scientific and pedagogical activity of the well-known Ukrainian scholarly librarian, document expert - Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor M. Slobodianyk. An attempt was made to outline the main stages in the formation, formation and active work of M. Slobodianyk as a teacher of higher education. Presented are the views of Professor M. Slobodianyk on reforming higher education in Ukraine and informatization of the educational process. Special attention is paid to the practical experience of organization of work to improve the skills of information industry professionals. Some theoretical findings of M. Slobodianyk are analyzed, in which the state is analyzed and ways of improving the training of specialists at different levels for institutions of the information and library industry are outlined. During the preparation of the article, previously published theoretical materials were also summarized, which reveal the scientific and pedagogical activity of Professor M. Slobodianyk.
