Abstract
Translation of literary text in places of stylistic convergence has certain difficulties. Stylistic convergence is considered in this work in the aspect of the conceptual integration theory. Stimulated by means of convergence the integrated mental space possesses a number of conceptual signs which need to be transferred in the process of translating. Use of the conceptual integration theory in the analysis of literary text allows reaching adequacy in the process of translating the text in convergence places.
