The XX century – the era of development of composer, performing, musicological creativity in Uzbekistan. During this period, there was a whole galaxy of professional initiative and enlightened cultural figures, whose contribution to the art and education of the country is priceless. One of these was V. Uspensky. The name of Victor Alexandrovich Uspensky is inextricably linked with the development of Uzbek art. For more than 30 years he has been continuously working in the field of collection and study of musical creativity of the peoples of Central Asia. His works are a valuable contribution to the Uzbek musical culture.
